Thank you for contacting the SMARTS VE Team!
We will be happy to administer your exam at our next test session @ 9:30AM. As you may know,
we hold our sessions every third Saturday of the month in Montour Preserve Auditorium located
at 374 Preserve Rd. Danville, PA 17821-8074. We post signs on the front door and in the lobby
which will direct you to the test room being used. Directions to the Preserve can be found at this
link.
You will need to bring several items with you, most importantly a valid government issued photo
ID (ex. Driver’s License, Military ID, Government Employee ID, Passport, etc.)
EVERY PERSON WISHING TO TAKE THE TECHNICIAN EXAM (not previously licensed)
MUST OBTAIN AN FRN (Federal Registration Number) FROM THE FCC WEBSITE
BEFORE COMING TO THE EXAM SESSION!
Registration is quick and easy, complete instructions and links to the appropriate FCC
